The Bad Stain Ahwatukee Auto Wah pedal produces the classic “Wah” sounds, as well as tight and defined “Wah” sounds, and somewhat robotic “Wah” sounds, depending on how the player utilizes the various knobs and selection switch on the pedal. The mode selection switch features a 22 gauge bullet shell that gives the pedal the unique Bad Stain look, and controls the tone variation of the pedal. Setting the mode switch in the up position shifts the tone to soft and mellow when you pluck the strings hard and apply strong pressure. Setting the mode switch to the bottom position switches the tone from mellow to hard. The Ahwatukee also features three different knobs that makes the pedal capable of producing a wide array of different sounds. The Volume knob adjusts the volume level to the output. The tone knob controls the color of the tone and Wah effect. Turning the knob clockwise gives a deep effect, and counterclockwise produces a shallow effect. The large knob in the center is the Sens control, short for Sensitivity. Turning this knob clockwise creates the wah tone with little pressure on the strings, and turning it counterclockwise produces the wah effect only when picking strongly. The Ahwatukee is powered using a 9 volt power adapter (Sold Separately).
