The BSNW Maricopa Series El Mirage electric guitar is a quality made guitar with a superb tone. The El Mirage is made in Phoenix, Arizona USA with high quality parts and materials from the USA, Russia, Germany, Japan, China and Korea.

The El Mirage has a Maricopa shaped body that is similar to the Fender Stratocaster. The body is made of basswood, and the guitar has a maple “C” shaped neck that is 25 1/2 inches long, and maple fretboard with 22 medium sized frets with black clay dot fret markers.

Bad Stain’s El Mirage has three Noize Pollution single coil pickups that give the guitar a thunderous sound. BSNW Noize Pollution pickups have tightly overwound coils of polyurethane insulated copper wire and samarium cobalt rare earth magnets. Noize Pollution pickups have a unique look because of the large cheese head style screw pole pieces that help pickup the notes of each string and make them full and bright.

The BSNW El Mirage features a master volume knob to control and adjust the volume of the guitar, as well as two different tone control knobs that can be adjusted to increase or decrease the bass and treble to achieve the desired perfect tone. The guitar also features a five way pickup selection switch that activates and deactivates the pickups, changing the sound and tone of the guitar when played.

The pickup switch can be set to adjust the guitar so that only the bridge pickup is active, the bridge and middle pickup are active, the bridge and neck pickups are active, the middle and neck pickups are active, or only the neck pickup is active. The pickup selection switch also features a bullet shell case for a knob, giving it the signature Bad Stain Noize Weapons look.

The BSNW El Mirage features a metallic red polyurethane polished high gloss finish, with a black pickguard.
