     The Navajo Series Gila Bend is made in the USA using parts and components made in the USA, Germany, Russia, Japan, China, Korea and Mexico. The Gila Bend has a basswood body with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard. The neck is a comfortable “C” shape and is 32 inches long with 20 medium jumbo frets and inlaid mother of pearl dot fret markers.

     The Navajo Gils Bend is equipped with a set of BSNW Subsonic J Bass Style Pickups. BSNW Subsonic Bass Pickups have a thick and heavy low end tone that is perfect for a variety of genres, ranging from rap and hip hop to metal and reggea. Subsonic Bass Pickups also produce a warm and vivid high end tone that works well with everything from punk and ska, to indie rock and pop.

     Bad Stain Subsonic Bass Pickups have tightly wound coils made from polyurethane coated copper wire, combined with AlNiCo 2 magnets and large cheese head pole pieces.

     The Gila Bend has two chrome volume control knobs that control the volume of each pickup, and a bullet shell style tone control knob that adjusts the treble and bass of the pickups.
