Bad Stain Noize Weapons introduces the Magnetar Single Coil Pickup. The “Magnetar” is named after the most powerful magnetic force in the known universe because the pickup is equipped with the most powerful magnet that we could find. In fact, the Magnetar features dual magnets, a powerful neodymium rare earth magnet, and a fairly weak ceramic magnet placed between the neodymium magnet and the coil.

The single coil pickup is tightly wound using formvar wire, helping to produce a vibrant and warm tone. The intense force of the neodymium magnet is so strong, it can suspend over fifty pounds of weight. The magnet was placed further away from the coil, with a ceramic magnet between the two, so the magnetic field would not be too intense. The neodymium magnet helps to increase the force of the ceramic magnet, generating a tight and defined high end tone that works very well for solo’s. The fiery treble is unique and vib rant, unlike any other pickup available.

The bridge Magnetar Single Coil Pickup is available exclusively equipped in the Tempe Guitar and the neck is available equipped in select Bad Stain models, and cannot be purchased individually.
