The Bad Stain Maricopa Series Mesa electric guitar is a quality made guitar that is manufactured in the USA using quality parts and components from the USA, Russia, Korea, China, Germany, Japan and Mexico.
The Mesa has an alder Maricopa series body that is inspired by the legendary Fender Stratocaster. The Mesa has a maple “C” shaped neck with a walnut fretboard. The neck is 25 1/2 inches long with 22 medium frets and mother of pearl fret markers.
The Maricopa Series Mesa comes equipped with a set of Bad Stain Classic Stain single coil pickups. Classic Stain Pickups have a unique look and produce a solid tone. Classic Stain pickups innovative design is based on Bad Stain’s best selling guitar pickup, the Stainbucker.
Both Stainbucker and Classic Stain pickups are manufactured using AlniCo five magnets with tightly wound coils of polyurethane insulated copper wire. Each pole piece is a different shape and size, and have been placed in the perfect position to produce a perfectly well balanced tone from each string.
The Mesa features a chrome revolver style master volume knob, as well as two chrome tone control knobs to adjust the bass and treble.
The Mesa also has a pickup selection switch that features a bullet shell knob and gives it the signature Bad Stain style. The pickup switch can be set to adjust the guitar so that only the bridge pickup is active, the bridge and middle pickups are active, the bridge and neck pickups are active, the middle and neck pickups are active, or only the neck pickup is active.
The Bad Stain Maricopa Series Mesa guitar has a light pink high gloss finish and white pickguard.
