The Payson’s bright and jangly tone makes it a great guitar for studio recording, but it is also a great guitar for live gigs.

The BSNW Payson is made in the USA using high quality materials and components that were manufactured in the USA, UK, Japan, Canada, China, Korea, Russia, Germany and Mexico.

The Payson guitar features a Maricopa Series body shape that is similar to a standard Fender Stratocaster. The body is carved from basswood, and the guitar has a “C” shaped maple neck with rosewood fretboard. The neck is 25 1/2 inches long with 22 medium sized frets and inlaid mother of pearl dot fret markers.

The Maricopa Series Payson is equipped with a set of BSNW Lipstick Stain lipstick tube pickups. BSNW Lipstick Stain lipstick tube pickups are made using AlNiCo 5 bar magnets with tightly wound coils of copper wire. Lipstick Stain pickups have a bright and vivid jangly high end tone, with agressive lows and solid mids. The pickups are diverse, and sound amazing when played clean, or with distortion.

The Bad Stain Maricopa Series Payson features a Master Volume control knob and two tone control knobs, as well as a three way pickup selection switch with Bad Stain’s signature bullet shell casing knob.

The Maricopa Series Payson electric guitar is available in a classic sunset burst high gloss finish with black pickguard.
