Stainbucker Humbucking Pickup

In 2016, Chase Stain designed and built his first signature pickup. Stain chose to design a humbucker that had a bright and warm tone, with a unique design. Stain named his new pickup the Stainbucker, but instead of selling his superior pickup, Stain kept his invention all to himself.

In 2023, Stain decided to make his pickup available to the world for the first time, and started selling the Stainbucker.

The Stainbucker humbucking pickup features a superior technical design and a unique look that every player will appreciate. In order to understand what makes the Stainbucker so unique, you need to understand that each guitar string has a different output.

Coiled strings have less output than single strings. The E, A, and D strings are coiled, so each pole on the Stainbucker is sized to accommodate the proper output of those strings. The G string has the most output, so the pole is actually located slightly under the pickup bobbin. The B string also has a lot of output, so is placed just slightly above the bobbin, and the high E has less output so the pole piece is located just slightly higher.

Each of the pole pieces are located in the proper locations for their output, making the Stainbucker a superior pickup for serious players. The Stainbucker features tightly overwound coils using polyurathane insulated copper wire, and alnico 5 magnets. The bridge pickup generates an output of 15,200 Ohms, and the neck pickup produces an output of 9,300k Ohms. The simple, quick and easy drop in design makes the BSNW Stainbucker Humbucking Pickups a great way to help upgrade the favorite weapon in your arsenal!
