BSNW Sun City Grand Electric Guitar

Semi-hollow body electric guitar with a natural wood finish and white pickguard

The Bad Stain Pima Series Sun City Grand is similar to the Sun City and Sun City West, and features a semi-hollow body design that was inspired by the Fender Telecaster.

The Sun City Grand has a basswood semi-hollow body, along with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard. The standard “C” shaped neck is 25 1/2 inches in length, with 22 medium sized frets and mother of pearl dot fret markers.

The guitar has a dual humbucker design, and features two vastly different sounding humbuckers that give the Sun City Grand a unique sound.

The bridge pickup has a BSNW Railslide mini humbucker, that produces a modern tone with ultra high end and rumbling lows. The Railslide gets its tone thanks to dual magnets and tightly overwound coils. The ceramic magnet and samarium cobalt magnet help give the Railslide a tone that stands out, with an output of 16,200 ohms. The Railslide is not available to purchase, and only comes in select Bad Stain models.

The neck pickup is Bad Stain’s Supersonic Series Mach 2 Humbucker, that is powered with an AlNiCo 2 magnet, with tightly wound polyurethayne insulated copper wire. The Mach 2 has a classic warm tone, with tight and defined mids.

The Sun City Grand features a revolver style master volume knob and chrome tone control knob, as well as a three way pickup selection switch featuring a bullet shell knob. The pickup switch can be set to adjust the guitar so that only the bridge pickup is active, or just the neck pickup is active, or both.

The Sun City Grand electric guitar is available in a natural high gloss finish and white pearl pickguard.
