The Bad Stain Sun City West electric guitar is part of our Pima Series, inspired by the iconic Fender Telecaster. The Sun City West is a quality guitar that is similar to our Sun City guitar, featuring the same semi-hollow body design.

The telecaster shaped semi-hollow body of the Pima Series Sun City West is made of basswood, and features a maple neck and fretboard. The “C” shaped neck is 25 1/2 inches long with 22 medium sized frets with black clay fret markers.

The Sun City West is loaded with a FrankenStain bridge pickup, and a Magnetar neck pickup, which is not available for individual sale.

The BSNW FrankenStain bridge pickup has a ultra strong Neodymium rare earth magnet with large hex bolts used as poles, and a coil made of polyurethane coated copper wire. The tone is strong and tight with scorching highs, tight mids, and a roaring low end.

The Magnetar pickup has a ceramic magnet as well as a powerful neodymium rare earth magnet. and a low wind coil of formvar wire that helps produce a vibrant high end tone. The neck magnetar is similar to the bridge Magnetar installed inside select Bad Stain guitars, with less output.

The Sun City West features a chrome master volume knob and chrome tone control knob, as well as a three way pickup selection switch featuring a bullet shell knob. The pickup switch can be set to adjust the guitar so that only the bridge pickup is active, or just the neck pickup is active, or both.

The Sun City West electric guitar is available in an orange high gloss finish and white pearl pickguard.
