Bad Stain Noize Weapons Maricopa Series Surprise electric guitar is a stellar guitar for studio work, as well as a smooth playing guitar for live performances. The Surprise is made in Phoenix, Arizona USA using high quality materials manufactured in the USA, UK, Canada, Germany, Russia, Mexico, Japan, China and Korea.

The Surprise has a Maricopa Series shaped body that was inspired by the Fender Stratocaster. The smooth contour body makes the Surprise comfortable to play, and the lightweight body makes it easy to play long sets at live gigs.

The Surprise has a basswood body and maple neck with maple fretboard. The 25 1/2 inch neck is in a standard comfortable “C” shape design with 22 medium sized frets and inlaid black clay dot fret markers.

The Maricopa Series Surprise comes equipped with BSNW Off The Railz mini humbucking pickups. Off The Railz pickups have a fiery tone with scorching high ends. Off The Railz pickups get their hot tone from their tri magnet design. Each pickup has an AlniCo 5 bar magnet, with a neodymium rare earth magnet on one coil and a samarium cobalt rare earth magnet on the opposite coil. Each coil is tightly wound using polyurethane insulated wire.

The Surprise features a Master Volume knob and two tone control knobs, as well as a three way pickup selection switch with Bad Stain’s signature bullet shell knob.

The Maricopa Series Surprise electric guitar is available in a candy apple red high gloss finish with black pickguard.
