The Tapeworm Piezo Pickup from Bad Stain Noize Weapons uses a compressed crystal to produce strong and full tones from the pressure of the strings. The Tapeworm Piezo Pickup is installed internally, just inside the soundhole of the Tempe. The location of the pickup allows it to pickup the pressure from the vibration of the strings along with the mahogony body and spruce top. The blend of woods used in the body of the Tempe, along with the pickup design and strategic location, allow the Tapeworm to generate a fat and full tone that sounds amazing for rhythm guitar and chords. The Tapeworm Piezo Pickup is only available in the Tempe, and is unavailable to be purchased separately.
