The Generation X Tortilla Flats solid state bass guitar amp has a lot in common with the original Tortilla Flats bass amp. The Gen X produces 20 watts of power, just like the Boomer Tortilla Flats, making it a great amp for solo practicing, as well as writing.

We upgraded some of the internal components when designing the Gen X, and the amp is now equipped with higher quality potometers that give the amp a richer and crisper sound.

The most obvious change is that the Gen X has a sleek looking diamond plate design that makes it stand out visually.

The Tortilla Flats practice bass amplifier features a genuine 12 gauge shotgun shell master volume knob, and Treble, Mid, and Bass tone control knobs, that allow the player to adjust the amp to produce their desired sound. The amp also has a headphones jack (Headphones sold separately), to allow the user to play while wearing headphones and avoid disrupting anyone else close by. In addition, the amp has an MP3 input jack, which can be useful when learning new music.
