BSNW Tucson Electric Guitar
Bad Stain introduces the Tucson electric guitar. The Tucson is the first full solid body guitar in our Pima Series, and features a body shape that is similar to the iconic Fender Telecaster.
The Tucson is a quality guitar that is an affordable price, and a great guitar for both veteran and beginning guitarists.
The body of the Tucson is made of basswood, and both the neck and the fretboard are made of maple. The āCā shaped neck is 25 1/2 inches long with 22 medium sized frets with black clay fret markers.
The Tucson is equipped with a Sonic Pulse Cannon bridge pickup, and a Magnetar neck pickup, both of which are not available for individual sale. The Tucson breaks the traditional rules with a neck pickup that produces higher output than the bridge.
The Sonic Pulse Cannon has AlNiCo 4 magnets with gold colored button hex head poles and a coil made of polyurethane coated copper wire. The tone is thick with tight mids and a powerful low end.
The Magnetar pickup has a ceramic magnet as well as a powerful neodymium rare earth magnet. and a coil of formvar that helps produce a vibrant high end tone. The neck magnetar is similar to the bridge Magnetar installed inside the Tempe guitar, with less output.
The Tucson features a stylish bullet shell Master Volume knob and chrome tone control knob, as well as a three way pickup selection switch. The pickup switch can be set to adjust the guitar so that only the bridge pickup is active, or just the neck pickup is active, or both. The Tucson electric guitar is available in a midnight burst high gloss finish and black pickguard.
